Dismissal
It is one of the disciplinary actions, and is the severe disciplinary punishment next to expulsion. The school staff`s status is deprived.
Disability
It refers to the case that the state of mental or physical damage continuously remains on the bodies of the school staff due to the official disease or injury. ※ The degree of disability is separated into fourteen grades from the Grade 1 to the Grade 14.
Disposition of Delinquency
It refers to the disposal and its execution that the Foundation realizes the same state as the obligations were forcibly fulfilled if school staff or school institutions fail to implement their obligations shared by them for the Foundation.
Direct Ancestor
It refers to the parents of the school staff themselves or the blood relatives that belong to the same or lower generation with the parents.
Direct Descendant
It refers to the descendants of the school staff themselves and the blood relatives that belong to the same or lower generation with them.
Disaster Compensation Benefit
It refers to the social insurance type benefit paid by the Foundation to promote the financial stability of school institutions and contribute to the protection of living and welfare promotion of school staff and their survivors by making up to the damaged school staff and their survivors on behalf of school institutions for the losses caused by damage if school staff suffered from disease, injury or disability or died due to the duties. ※ There are official medical expenses, disability pension, benefit for the home damaged by disasters and death condolence allowance.
Disability Pension
It refers to the benefit that is paid as a pension if the school staff retired after being disabled due to the official disease or injury or are disabled due to that disease or injury after retirement. ※ Amount of Disability Pension = Base Monthly Income × Payment Rate (52~9.75% depending on the disability grade)
Disability Compensation
This benefit is paid in a lump sum under the same condition as the disability pension, at the request of the school staff as a substitution for disability pension. The amount of this benefit is as much as the disability pension of five years.
Dual Beneficiary
It refers to the case when the Public Officials Pension Act, Military Pension Act and National Pension Act are being applied or were applied for the person eligible for the Pension Act.
Death Condolence Allowance
(A) It is paid to the relevant school staff when the school staff`s spouses, parents (including spouses` parents) or children died. In this case, regardless of the fact of support, the second sons and second daughters who are the direct descendants of the dead are included in the beneficiaries. (B) If school staff died, the death condolence allowance is paid to the spouses. However, if there is no spouse, it is paid to the person who hosts the funeral and memorial service. ※ Cases which are ineligible for payment - If the stepmothers or stepfathers died, the death condolence allowance is not paid as they are not parents. - As the spouses and direct descendants of the dead only can demand the death condolence allowance if the spouses or parents of school staff died, it should be exactly checked before demanding the death condolence allowance if there are school staff other than the demanding school staff. Persons Eligible for Payment : Before December 31, 2009 - School Staff, Spouses, (Spouses`) Direct Ancestors ※Souses` Direct Ancestors : Only if they were actually supported. After January 1, 2010 -School Staff, (Spouses`) Parents, Children (New) ※Spouses` Parents: Regardless whether they were supported or not ※(Maternal) Grandparents are excluded. After May 19, 2011 -School Staff, (Spouses`) Parents, Children (New) ※Spouses` Parents: Regardless whether they were supported or not ※(Maternal) Grandparents are excluded. Amount To Be Paid : School Staff : Before December 31, 2009 (3 x monthly salary) After January 1, 2010(195/100% of base monthly income) After May 19, 2011(195/100% of base monthly income) Family : Before December 31, 2009 (1 x monthly salary) After January 1, 2010(65/100% of base monthly income) After May 19, 2011(65% of the average base monthly income of the entire public officials)
Disposition of National Tax Delinquency
It refers to the disposal of compulsory collection or the procedure incidental to it which is executed against the national tax delinquents in accordance with the National Tax Collection Law, and the procedure is to press for the payment as the first step, and then to take the 3-step procedure of the attachment of property, sale and clearing if the payment is still not implemented within the period.
Dischargee With Teacher`s License
It refers to those who were released after active military service for one year based on the regular teachers` short-term active servicemen system. ※ Holders of 6 months` period of release (enforced between 1957 and 1962)
Deficits Disposal
It refers to the administrative disposition which dissipates the obligation of payment when it is appreciated that the imposed contribution or clawback cannot be collected due to the occurrence of specific reason in collecting the contribution or claw the benefit back.
Demotion
It refers to being appointed to the lower job classification within the same work classification or being appointed to the lower job classification of other work classification as there is no lower job classification within the same work classification.
